Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel Police to prevent politicians from visiting Har Habayis to prevent additional incitement on the holy city.
The prime minister added that an additional 2,000 policemen are being deployed throughout the capital towards bringing an end to the wave of terror and restoring a feeling of security for residents of the capital.
It is added that Gedolei Yisrael throughout the generations have ruled one may not visit Har Habayis. This is the ruling of Gedolei Yisrael today as well, in addition to being the position of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
