Yigal Henkin, a brother of Eitam Henkin HY”D who was murdered in a Shomron terror attack during Sukkos, explains to the media the harsh fashion in which he learned of his brother’s murder. “I received an SMS text message from a friend who was certain I already knew. I was certain police had already informed the family. The problem is they received the notification like me and this is a reoccurring scenario. Someone must do something”.

Yigal told Srugim News that police did not bother to formally notify the family members, each learning of the murders of Rabbi Eitam and Na’ama Henkin from unofficial sources. He calls on the relevant officials to make certain an appropriate system is in place to make official notification to family members in such cases.
