Firebombs Ready to Go Found on Rooftop of Jerusalem Arab Neighborhood


20151006224834Jerusalem police officials on Wednesday morning 24 Tishrei report finding 15 firebombs ‘ready to go’ on a rooftop in the A-Tur area of the capital. The discovery is a direct result of a new policy, sending police deep into Arab neighborhoods in an effort to halt the increase in Arab violence and terrorism. The police spokesman’s report adds that a day earlier, a number of firebombs were found on the roof of a mosque in the same neighborhood.

The commander of the Border Police Kedem Battalion, Assistant Commissioner Aviad explains “The discovery of the firebombs is a significant one for the firebombs place our combatants in perilous danger. We still remember the recent attack in which one of our vehicles was hit by a firebomb, leading to serious injuries as well as the attack on Route 20 in Beit Haninah which resulted in injuries…”
