Due to the ongoing recovery efforts on 13th Avenue at the site of Saturday’s explosion, the following streets are affected in regards to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
On 13th Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Street, on the opposite side of the explosion, pedestrian traffic will be allowed, with a police escort, for business owners, residents & shoppers.
On the same side of the explosion only business owners & residents are allowed, with a police escort, starting at the corner of 43rd Street up to 4212. Further than that has been vacated and no pedestrians are allowed.
13th Avenue is closed to vehicular traffic from 39th to 43rd Street except for school buses, store owners and residents until further notice.

Yes. 2 people were killed, and pedestrians were hurt. They should have a complete refuah shelaima.
A possible gas leak. Just google the accident.
