Birkas Kohanim will take place IY”H on Wednesday, the second day of chol hamoed Sukkos in Eretz Yisrael. Kotel Heritage Foundation and other agencies report preparations have been completed. In addition, there will be a hachnosas Sefer Torah for four Sifrei Torah on Wednesday at the Kosel and the ‘Zeicher L’Hakeil’ following shmitah year and a simchas beis hashoeva. The Chief Rabbis of Israel will be taking part along with other rabbonim and public officials. The main chazan of the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, R’ Chaim Adler will also be taking part.

Shachris begins at 08:45 following by Birkas Kohanim at 09:30. Musaf begins at 10:15 followed by Birkas Kohanim at 10:30. The Hachnosas Sifrei Torah is set to begin at 17:00 but before this, Chief Rabbis Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita and Rabbi Dovid Lau Shlita will hold kabolas panim. The hachnasas Sifrei Torah will lead into the Hakeil event.
