Jerusalem firemen were summoned to a kindergarten in the Katamon neighborhood on Wednesday, 3 Tishrei to extricate the head of a child that got stuck in a fence in the yard of the facility on Teshernikovsky Street.
Firemen came equipped with a spreader that was able to push the vertical bars far enough apart to remove the boy’s head without injury.
Fire department officials strongly recommend that fences should have spaces between them that are too small for a child’s head for if one gets stuck between them, permanent injury may result.
