Ahead of the start of construction on the Jerusalem Sky project, the Jerusalem eruv has been modified to include Kiryat Shomrei Emunim which is in proximity to Mir Yeshiva and part of the Beis Yisrael and Meah Shearim area.
The completion of the new mehadrin eruv was completed recently. The rabbonim who oversaw the eruv are residents of Shomrei Emunim joined by Rosh Yeshivas Mir HaGaon HaRav Finkel Shlita who is now a resident of the area.
The Jerusalem Sky project is expected to be a quick sell as it will be situated in the Shomrei Emunim community, in the heart of the chareidi area that has educational institutions, kollels, shuls, yeshiva ketana, mikve and shopping, not to mention its proximity to the Kosel.
