Baruch Hashem the record-breaking haze in Yerushalayim and around Israel earlier this week is beginning to dissipate while temperatures remain unseasonably hot. As a result, Arkia announced on Thursday 26 Elul that is would be resuming domestic flights to and from Eilat after not operating those flights for two and a half days. Passengers were advised to check with the airline as timetables were changed, in some cases significantly.

Flights resumed at 14:00 on Thursday. The haze is expected to continue dissipating on Friday and Shabbos.
