An Israir flight that took off at 6:20 AM from Ben-Gurion Airport on Wednesday, 25 Elul, had to turn around and come back home due to a problem with the plane. The plane was only in the air for a few minutes when the problem was detected with one of the engines. The plane touched down without incident.
The anxious passengers got off the plane in Ben-Gurion, receiving vouchers for coffee and cake, waiting in the terminal for information as to when another plane would be available to take them to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
Itt was indicated the flight would depart later Wednesday.
