New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is slamming New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, saying his “liberal” law-and-order policies have increased crime in the nation’s largest city.
Christie and de Blasio appeared separately on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Tuesday.
The Democratic mayor argued that the streets are safer in New York under his watch, though he acknowledged there have been more homicides there so far this year than there were at this point in 2014.
Christie says that people are getting “more and more fed up” with crime and that the city should resurrect a stop-and-frisk police policy.
The 2016 Republican presidential hopeful says President Barack Obama’s policies have also contributed to lawlessness.

I looked up the stats. Since last year, homicides and sexual assaults are up, robberies about the same, but felonious assault, burglary, grand larceny, and auto theft are down. Overall, major crimes are down 4%.
Charlie the stats are manipulated. For the smaller crimes the cops are either not showing up or are refusing to take reports that is what they are being told to do from the higher ups as per the cops. The corners that were kept clear have increased gang activity, the homelessness is out of control, there are loud and vulgar drunks walking the street. The NYC streets aren’t feeling all the safe anymore.
