A Shai Police district spokesman reports that detectives operating in Yata in the Hebron district apprehended ammunition. They were operating on a reliable tip and uncovered ammunition for an M-16 (5.56 mm) and a number of magazines for the ammunition. One person, a PA (Palestinian Authority) resident, was taken into custody.
Elsewhere in the Hebron district, police and ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) agents found two handguns, one a makeshift weapons, ammunition, two-way radios, and IDF uniforms. One PA resident was arrested and taken for questioning.
