The Knesset on Wednesday 18 Elul held a special plenum session during the summer recess to pass the state budget in its first reading.

MK (Joint Arab List) Ayman Udeh complained of not feeling well. He explained he was experiencing “pressure in his chest” and after being checked in the Knesset infirmary, it was decided to transport him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Hospital officials on Thursday morning report the MK is in stable condition and remains in a hospital cardiac intensive care unit.

Not too long after, during the plenum session on the budget, MK (Likud) Oron Hazzan complained of difficult breathing. MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi was first to come to his assistance. He was then referred to the Knesset infirmary and he soon returned to the plenum.
