A grenade was hurled at a yeshiva in the Yaffo area of Tel Aviv, on Taluz Street. The attack passed the building on Tuesday night 17 Elul riding a motorized scooter and hurled the grenade, which B’chasdei Hashem did not explode. As he fled he lost control of the scooter and hit a car and fell. Talmidim from the yeshiva who did not understand what occurred helped him up and he fled the scene.

Yeshiva officials and police view the attack very seriously, representing an escalation in attacks against the hesder yeshiva. The attacker was not apprehended at the time of this report.
