The management of CityPass, which operates the Jerusalem light rail announced on Tuesday morning 17 Elul that train drivers have decided to implement work actions later in the day that will result in the interruption of service. The announcement adds that due to the efforts of management, in most cases, the interruption in service will be minimal and not detectable in most areas.
Management blames train drivers for failing to concern themselves with train riders by once again implementing work sanctions in less than a month’s time. Management adds it will not give in to such brutal tactics and it will continue all efforts to accommodate daily riders and towards avoiding the unnecessary hardship to passengers and Jerusalem residents.
