While officials in Betar, Yerushalayim and Elad announced they have assigned all high school girls to schools, the Ministry of Education on Monday morning 16 Elul had a different report.

Actually, according to the ministry on Monday morning, 21 girls in Yerushalayim, 13 in Elad and 40 in Betar, all Sephardim, have yet to be assigned a school. The figures from the ministry contradict the statements from school officials and others. Ministry officials’ promise to continue monitoring the situation to make certain every child is placed in an appropriate school.
