A 30-year-old person was just involved in a jet ski accident in Atlantic Beach – just off the Rockaways / Queens, NY.

Sources tell YWN that Hatzolah and Nassau County EMS were called to the scene of the crash, which reportedly happened under the Atlantic Beach Bridge, at around 4:00PM, Sunday afternoon.

The victim is reportedly in stable condition, but suffered a serious leg injury.

He was airlifted by the Nassau County Police Chopper, and taken to Northshore Hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
