Tzfas Police officials on Tuesday, 3 Elul announce the completion of preparations for the city to host the annual Klezmer Festival which is going to take place from 3 to 5 Elul (August 18, 2015 to August 20, 2015). The event usually attracts tens of thousands of participants.
Over 150 policemen and officers are assigned to the event along with 100 ushers who will assist to maintain order. Tzfas Police Chief Yoram Azoulai reported on Tuesday that security is set in place as are arrangements to reroute traffic where necessary.
The festival will take place in a number of venues in the city including the Old city, City Hall Plaza, and Center Stage in the city center. The day’s events start daily at 16:30 until the early morning hours. All entrances to the city are closed to private vehicles with the exception of residents who are compelled to show police their identity card.
