After an indictment was filed on Monday 2 Elul against the terrorist who murdered Danny Gonen HY”D, Amjad Iduan, Gonen’s mother Devorah said “The three murderous terrorists decided to stop the existence of my son. They too should not exist. The time has come in the State of Israel to impose the death sentence on them. The law exists and it must be implemented. We are in pain and it is not simple to stand here today. I hope that justice will prevail for all those involved, the terrorists, the murderers and they will not fear to carry out justice. Life is prison in insufficient. The death penalty and only the death penalty will serve as a better deterrent. We must stop sacrificing victims. My son went out for a trip and never returned”.
