According to a report released by Almagor, a victim of Arab terror organization, a Jewish couple was fortunate to escape an attempted lynch in the Southern Hebron Hills area when ten of Bedouins attacked them with clubs and stones. Among the group of attackers were left-wingers working to advance the PA (Palestinian Authority) cause.

It is explained a woman was not feeling well so her husband decided to take another route to shorten their trail. They were close to a Bedouin encampment. Dozens of Bedouins exited their homes and began pelting them with stones and attacking them with clubs. They filed a complaint with police.

The couple, Miri and Elisha Medan. She is a teacher and senior member of the S. Hebron Hills search & rescue team, among the leaders in last year’s search for the three kedoshim, Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frenkel and Eyal Yiftach HY”D. Elisha is also know to maintain good relations with the Bedouins living in the area, often called upon to assist them as well. He is also a son of Rabbi Yaakov Medan, Rosh Yeshivat Har Etzion.

Almagor leader Meir Indor is calling on police to enter the Bedouin community and arrest the attackers. He adds police do not have to wait until the next couple is chas v’sholom murdered.

Members of an Italian peace organization called Operation Dove were visiting the area when two “settlers” ran into the area along with a dog, instilling fear in the local residents in light of recent attacks against Arabs.
