Just a short time after the Knesset passed a bill into law permitting authorities under certain conditions to force feed a hunger striking prisoner, an imprisoned terrorist was transferred from Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon, where he will be administered nutrition against his will.
On Monday morning 25 Menachem Av, during the predawn hours, a hunger-striking terrorist imprisoned in Israel was transferred to Barzilai where doctors will give him sufficient nutrition to prevent his condition from continuing to deteriorate. The prisoner was admitted to an intensive care unit.
Muhmad Alaan, the hunger-striking prisoner, has refused food for 55 days. The transfer was the result of the refusal of doctors at Soroka to force feed him. The medical director of Barzilai, Dr. Chezi Levy, did agree to accept the prisoner before the transfer was made.
12:47 IL: Doctors at Barzilai are unwilling to feed the prisoner against his will.

Let him drop dead !
What is wrong with these doctors??!
Unbelievable?!
Of course they should feed him. And not for humanitarian reasons only, but because his only intention is to blacken Israel’s face. Imagine the headlines, “Israel kills Palestinian in Prison under suspicious circumstances.”
