Two rockets fired into southern Israel from Gaza on motzei Shabbos Nachamu did not trigger the Red Alert warning system. B’chasdei Hashem the rockets detonated near the border fence in Gaza.

Of late, there has been an increase in the sporadic rocket fire into southern Israel, some attacks resulting in an IAF response against terrorist targets in Gaza.

Clearly not expecting the rocket fire to cease any time soon, the Defense Ministry and IDF Homefront Command have completed fortifying many kindergartens and public buildings in Gaza border communities.
