A camper at Camp HASC was airlifted to a trauma center after being pulled from a swimming pool, Wednesday afternoon.
Sources tell YWN that Hatzolah was called just after 3:00PM, for reports of a 14-year-old unresponsive after being pulled from the pool at the camp – located in Parksville, NY.
Hatzolah Paramedics treated the victim on the scene, and requested that a chopper be dispatched to fly the victim to an adequate hospital for further treatment.
The Medevac landed a few minutes later at the nearby NYPD Liberty Barracks, and the victim was flown to Westchester Trauma Center. He is reportedly in serious condition.
Hatzolah was assisted on the scene by the NY State Police.
