Police say a drug suspect who escaped from a New York City police station last week has been recaptured.
Arthur Collins was arrested Monday and charged with escaping jail.
Police say the 57-year-old took off from a stationhouse in Harlem Friday evening.
He had been arrested earlier in the day after officers found him in a Madison Avenue apartment building without permission.
They say he had cocaine, heroin, marijuana and a firearms silencer. Police say he escaped while the officers were processing his arrest.
