A young man, one of the hundreds of Jewish visitors to Har Habayis on Tisha B’Av morning 5775 before police closed the site down to visitors decided to begin reciting Shema Yisrael. It took only a few seconds until police moved in and removed him from the site because only Muslims are permitted to pray on Har Habayis and this is enforced by Israel.
After his detention and release by police the young man explains how he waited for two hours in the hot sun to get onto Har Habayis and how he decided to recite ‘Shema’ and with Hashem’s help he hopes to continue doing so in the future.
It is added that Gedolei Yisrael throughout the generations have ruled one may not visit Har Habayis. This is the ruling of Gedolei Yisrael today as well, in addition to being the position of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.

That’s great news! The Israeli police are now enforcing the Mitzvos HaTorah: Shabbos, tznius, kashrus etc. That’s great!
#1 As long as they allow Jew onto the Har Habayis that’s not called enforcing the Mitvos Hatorah
Shame on israel if every other state in the world will do such a thing we would scream antisemitism
It’s horrible “a Jew was arrested for reciting shema Yisroel” I’m not saying he is right he is a Rosho for going there but where is our dignify and what a gentile who see such a title will say??
Shame on this Jew for desecrating G-d’s holy name by saying Shma on Har HaBayit. He certainly should be incarcerated with the rest of the terrorists.
The above is ‘tongue in cheek’! In reality it is so stupid to arrest a Jew who wishes to visit Har HaBayit, and to prevent him from praying there is also border line moronic.
May we some day be blessed with clear vision to see that giving into the Arabs has only brought us problems.
