A Sefer Torah that was donated to a Ramat HaSharon shul just a few months ago was stolen. The sefer is valued well over NIS 100,000.
According to the reports, thieves broke into Beis Knesses Geulas Yisrael on Rabbeinu Tam Street in Ramat HaSharon and stole the sefer. The shul is a main shul in the community, one that is busy daily and among the mispallalim is the city’s chief rabbi, Rabbi Yaakov Edelstein Shlita.
The stolen sefer was donated to the shul by a Bnei Brak family. Police are investigating.
