The senior Jerusalem Police brass visited the Ichud Hatzalah nationwide headquarters, located in the Romeima section of the capital. Leading the delegation was Jerusalem Police Chief Moshe Edri.

The chief and his commanders were briefed on Ichud Hatzalah’s operation in the capital and around Israel. It was explained to him the volunteer EMS organization has EMTs, paramedics and physicians operating in the capital and around Israel.

Ichud Executive Director Ze’ev Kashash and CEO Moshe Teitelbaum escorted the VIP contingent and thanked Chief Edri for the ongoing cooperation between his department and Ichud.

It was explained that Ichud Hatzalah nationwide now numbers 2,500 volunteers, of which 400 operate in the capital. As the visit ended it was decided that Ichud officials would be meeting with relevant officers in the Jerusalem command.
