Amid mounting reports of corruption in the Jerusalem Religious Council and kashrus services, Israel Police raided the offices of the Netanya Religious Council.
In this case, the raid was prompted by an investigation into illegal activities in the religious council uncovered during an undercover investigation. Police arrived at the location on Tuesday morning 5 Menachem Av.
The extent of the alleged corruption and monetary law-breaking activities have not been revealed by police at this time.
