Ichud (United) Hatzalah reported on Sunday morning 3 Menachem Av that it responded to a CPR call in a yeshiva in the Ramot area of Yerushalayim. A child in the talmid torah on Ohr Shraga Street in the capital went into cardiac arrest.
Chezi Roth, a member of the Ichud ambucycle team explains “When I arrived on the scene I saw the child, who was unconscious. Together with other volunteers we began CPR along with advanced life support. Miraculously, he regained consciousness and was transported in an intensive care unit ambulance to the hospital in serious/stable condition”.

I have learned CPR @my work place. Bottom line:- Every minute of delay, is 10% higher chance of death & non survival R’L of someone in cardiac arrest. Even on Shabbos &/or YK, medical help must be sought without a Shinui, since every second is critical.
