Mr. Sergei L. Ustinov, 62, a member of the Russian Jewish Congress, was seriously wounded in an attempted assassination. According to Russian media reports, the shooting attack in Moscow may have been an anti-Semitic act. Ustinov also heads the Museum of Jewish History in Russia. His condition is being reported as serious/stable, having been shot with a sawed-off pistol.
The attack took place in a parking lot of the victim’s real estate office near the museum on Petrovsko-Razumovskaya Street 10 on the northwestern edge of the Russian capital’s center.
