A number of members of Neturei Karta on Shabbos joined Israel’s enemies in Berlin to protest against Israel. The event is an annual occurrence in which enemies of Israel participate. They begin with a few hundred participants in central Berlin and from there they march together, part of al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day they observe. The Neturei Karta members participated in the past as well, also on Shabbos as they carried signs against Israel and PLO, Lebanese and Turkish flags.
Prior to the start of the event the three Neturei Karta participants praised the group and its actions, pointing out that they as Jews back their actions and that is why they are participating.
There was a large contingent of pro-Israel demonstrators carrying Israeli flags opposing the group.

If YWN and all the other news outlets would just ignore these lunatics and not write about them, they would slowly disappear. All they have in life is publicity. We shouldn’t be acknowledging crazy people.

Neturei Karta has done more to make me pro-Israel than any amount of zionist inducement could have. I see that by carrying signs on Shabbos, Neturei Karta also hates Torah. By dressing up to look “frum” these rashaim are worse than Reform.
Berlin doesn’t have an Eruv. I don’t think they had signs on Shabbos.

On Shabbos? Who gave them a heter to participate and the filmed participating in a demonstration that is the opposite of pekuah nefesh? It doesn’t seem like an appropriate activity for Shabbos. Some kind of heter due to their mental health issues?
