According to PA (Palestinian Authority) media reports, Israel has released senior Islamic Jihad terrorists Khadir Adnan, 34, who has been on a hunger strike for 55 days. Adnan was held in administration detention by Israel.
The Maan News Agency report states that his release agreement stipulates that he will not be arrested on administrative detention again in the future by Israel.
Israel Prison Authority officials confirm the release of the administrative prisoner. He was released during the night on motzei Shabbos.
Due to his weakened condition, he is admitted to Assaf HaRofeh Hospital.
