On Friday, 23 Tammuz, the Ma’aras HaMachpelah will be closed to Jews, the fourth and final week of this year’s Muslim month of Ramadan. Tefilos on Friday and erev Shabbos will take place outside on the steps. Jews will not be permitted inside.
The Machpelah will reopen on regular schedule on Shabbos morning at 04:00.
