The ongoing vandalism to matzeivos and rock attacks against visitors to Har HaZeisim has compelled having security on hand for levayas on Har HaZeisim.
A Channel 1 News reports shows the horrific reality, just a half kilometer from the Kosel. Rabbi Hillel Horowitz correctly points out that if such a “pogrom” would occur in a Jewish cemetery in Europe the government would correctly shout out to stop the anti-Semitism. Here however nothing is done.
As a result, anyone conducting a levaya or wising to visit a kever must arrange for security. Religious Services Minister David Azoulai concurs, warning if the current situation continues the area may be lost to the Arabs chas v’sholom.
Ministers have promised budgets, security, security booths, but the promises are rarely if ever entirely actualized and the situation continues to deteriorate, matzeivos are smashed, Jewish visitors are attacked and not enough is being done to reverse the daily acts of terrorism inside the Jewish capital.
Azoulai calls on the tzibur to continue visiting. He feels if more people come the situation will improve.

I thunk those that are willing to be chayiv Kareis according to Charedi and Chief Rabbis o Har Habayis should instead organize trips to Har HaZaysim. It is a site of many Jewish graves, very historic significance and very Strategic heights over the Old City
this is what happens when Zionists (with the acquisence of their Chareidi coalition members) keep giving in and giving up parts of Eretz Yisroel for an elusive peace thatll NEVER come.

I differ. Those Charedim who go to the Galile to visit kvreai tzaddikim should instead show a continuous presence by visiting the tzaddikim at Har Hazatim.
