Magen David Adom officials held a ceremony for a new ambulance donated to Tzfas by Christian Friends of MDA. The special event was held at the Open Skies in Jerusalem to officially dedicate the new emergency vehicle. Members of the Christian community visiting to take part in the event donated 90 units of blood to the MDA blood bank.

The Open Skies Assembly was attended by 560 Christians from 22 countries including the USA, China, India, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia, all coming to Jerusalem for the ambulance dedication. Participants in the conference will be in Israel for five days and they will tour areas of the country too. Among officials addressing the assembly was Mr. Norman Feingold, who established the Christian Friends of MDA organization.

MDA Chief Eli Bin spoke to the group and thanked them for taking part in the organization’s life-saving mission.
