Emergency personnel are currently on the scene of a multi-car crash on Route 42 in South Fallsburg.

Catskills Hatzolah received multiple calls just before 2:00PM reporting the crash. There are reportedly 5 vehicles involved. Upon arrival, Hatzolah Paramedics requested two choppers to airlift two victims with serious injuries.

An additional 4 victims were being transported by Catskills Hatzolah and Mobile-Medics to Catskill Regional Medical Center (Harris).

A landing zone was being secured by the Monticello Fire Department at Kiamisha Lanes Bowling Alley. The two victims being flown are expected to be taken to Westchester Trauma Center in Valhalla.

Fallsburg Police are on the scene investigating the crash.
