Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Public Order branch continue to work with Barnet borough officers and their partners ahead of a proposed demonstration in the Golders Green area on July 5.
As part of that work, officers from Avon and Somerset police, together with officers from the MPS, this morning, Friday 26 June arrested a 22-year-old man at a residential address in Yeovil, Somerset on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.
He has been taken to a central London police station where he remains in custody.
Officers continue to assess all information and intelligence available in relation to the proposed demonstration and speak with the organizers to ensure they have an appropriate policing response in place.
Police said in a statement “we are aware of concerns in the local community about the negative impact this proposed demonstration may have on them and are working with residents to ensure that people can exercise their rights in a way that is lawful, while minimizing this impact”.

Exercise their right to demonstrate…. this is wholesale racism in its purest form which is illegal in any developed country. This planned demonstration is reminiscent of the famous SS mass gatherings – they too started small untill they were too commonplace and often to be stopped.
If, Chas Veshalom this goes ahead and they attain their intentions, it will no doubt set a precedent for more demonstrations, each one becoming more virulent and violent, both in London and at other Jewish Kehillos. Heshem Yishmor.
I think you forgot to mention they are also threatening to burn Talmuds. (how can that be legal – are their permits needed for public burning events – why would it be given for burning Talmuds in front of a Jewish neighborhood for the sole purpose of inciting and provoking
Amazing…these low-life animals are only concerned about Jews taking over their land, when the Muslims are completely taking over the UK and the rest of Europe. Their hatred of Jews is so deep they can’t even see what their real problem is. They will all get what they deserve when ISIS takes over London.
