The Freedom Flotilla 3 set sail for Gaza on Thursday, 8 Tammuz. Among those on board is Arab Member of Knesset Basel Ghattas, who told the press before boarding he feels it is his duty to take part in the flotilla for the residents of Gaza. Once again enemies of Israel are setting sail in the hope of enlisting international pressure on Israel to remove the marine blockage that remains in place.

Ghattas added “A solution to the problem must be found along with ending the humanitarian crisis that exists in Gaza”.

There are five vessels in this flotilla, which are expected to arrive off of Gaza in the beginning of next week. Israel has signaled it plans to intercept the ships, sailing under a Swedish flag, before they reach their intended destination.

The organizers realize by flying a Swedish flag it will somewhat complicate things for the IDF Navy for boarding the vessel is tantamount with being on Swedish territory.
