20:29 IL: Police have set up checkpoints and are trying to determine the validity of a report of a kidnapping from the area of HaNevi’im Street near the center of the capital.

Two people got into a van and it is reported one exited briefly on HaNevi’im Street and while outside the van, the Arab driver drove off in the direction of the Davidka. Large police presence and checkpoints being established. No more information released at this time.

20:32: Person in the van when driver fled scene is reportedly a female. Age not being reported. Police have reportedly set up checkpoints at exits from the city. Police are still seeking to establish the validity of the report.

20:50: Suspect vehicle has been located by authorities. The alert has been canceled. B”H there was no kidnaping as feared.
