IDF soldiers on Monday evening 5 Tammuz were confronted with Gazans who refused to leave a closed military area along the Gaza border to Israel. The soldiers followed standard protocol and after numerous verbal warnings the group became unruly and determined to remain in the unauthorized area.

Soldiers then opened fire at their lower extremities, wounding at least of the Gazans. B’chasdei Hashem there were no reported injuries among IDF soldiers.
