A 4.5-year-old boy fell from a third story window on Chana Street in the Shikun Chabad area of Yerushalayim on Shabbos. The child sustained a head injury but B”H he is still alive and listed in moderate condition in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Sunday, 4 Tammuz.
The child fell to the street at about 12:30 on Shabbos. Neighbors were alarmed when they heard the thud from the impact. They looked out of windows and saw the child on the ground. The child was treated by EMTs and paramedics from Magen David Adom and Ichud Hatzalah.
MDA paramedic Mord Solomon was among those who treated the child. He explained to the press the child was conscious and alert when he arrived.

Every responsible parent should put bars on their windows when u live high up. It’s very excepted in yerushalayim where the buildings are high every one puts bars on the windows.

I don’t remember seeing bars on any windows in Yerushalayim. The windows open outward like doors, how and where do they put the bars?
