MK (Labor) Eli Ben-Reuven is calling on IDF military authorities to take action against soldiers captured on video beating a PA (Palestinian Authority) resident being arrested at a protest in Jalazoun. The incident occurred on Friday, 25 Sivan 5775. Ben-Reuven released a statement to the media condemning the behavior and actions of the soldiers involved.
Ben-Reuven calls for legal action against the soldiers, adding that even if this is carried out it is just “a tactical solution”, adding the real issue is with government policy “as the government sends soldiers to confront PA residents on a daily basis. These residents do not have rights and a diplomatic solution must be reached, even if such a solution is only partial…”

The video does not show what happened before they started beating him. I wouldn’t be surprised that he deserved every blow he received!
The soldiers may have overreacted to a silly provocation – just possibly so – however the reverse is a daily occurrence! Daily! Rocks galore!!!
So if they lose it here and there, nu!

Where are these one track minded MK’s when the victim is a chareidi or “right-wing” Israeli? This is not something new in Israel so why is it only an issue when Arabs are involved?
the Arab seemed bigger and stronger then the soldiers. so they had no choice to beat him otherwise he was knocking them down like flies.
