Ravaad Eida Chareidis HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita is calling on the tzibur to launch a boycott against Big Center due to the ongoing and persistent chilul Shabbos in the Ashdod shopping center.
According to the Kikar Shabbos News report, a well-known philanthropist close to Rav Sternbuch has published the instructions in the gadol’s name. This person told the rav he personally holds shares in “Big”, asking if he is compelled to sell those shares.
Rav Sternbuch told him in no uncertain terms that he must divest from the company to avoid being a partner in the chilul Shabbos. Rav Sternbuch adds that since the company is mechalel Shabbos, it place adherence to Shabbos nationwide in jeopardy as chilul Shabbos may spread from city to city R”L.

Does this mean no more shopping at BIg in Beit Shemesh either?
If someone is instructed to get out of the company then it would seem it inappropriate to shop at any BIG shopping centers. What other companies if any are affliated. We need some sort of statements from rabbonom here. chas v Shalom any of us should be a part of a chilul Shabbos. YWN please keep us updated and if any important letters, statements est..to help us . While residing in ISreal [I am presently elsewhere]my family and I would avoid shopping in Centers that had chain affiliates open on Shabbos.
