Police, IDF soldiers and agents of the Civil Administration on Thursday morning 17 Sivan destroyed the Chazon David Shul situated near Kiryat Arba. The unauthorized shul was razed numerous times in the past. It is named after two victims of Arab terror murdered in the so-called Second Intifada.
Some of the mispallalim report that prior to the last Knesset elections Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon promised them the shul would not be destroyed again but now, after a new coalition has been formed, the shul was razed again.

I seem to remember shuls being destroyed back in the 1940’s by others that wanted to wipe out the Jews.
Isn’t assur to destroy a shul?
