Following renewed terrorist rocket fire from Gaza into southern Israel on Wednesday, 16 Sivan, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon announce sporadic rocket fire into Israel will not be tolerated.
In what has become a canned response to rocket attacks, the senior minister spoke of the need to protect citizens and that he will not tolerate renewed attacks. As usual, the IAF during the night targeted terrorist objectives in Gaza. Ya’alon stressed that even if rocket fire comes from rival terror organizations seeking to undermine the Hamas regime, Israel views the Hamas leadership in Gaza responsible for any and all attacks. He called on terrorists [once again] not to test Israel’s patients, referring to Operation Protective Edge as proof Israel will use whatever means required to halt the rocket fire.
