Israel Police assigned to the Misgav district working with N. district border police and Yassam police, conducted a major sweep with the goal of rounding up PA (Palestinian Authority) residents inside “Israel proper” illegally.

During the operation that took place early Thursday morning, 17 Sivan in the villages of Dir Chana and Araba and Sakhnin, 40 illegals were taken into custody, all residents of PA autonomous areas in Yehuda and Shomron.

Police add that the operation would continue throughout the day on Thursday.
