Two rockets fired from Gaza landed in the S’dot Negev Regional Council District on Wednesday night. B’chasdei Hashem they landed in open fields and there was no loss of life, no injuries and no property damage.

Sirens sounded in Netivot, Ashkelon, Sderot and many other Gaza border communities. Residents in the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council reported their heard loud explosions.

The IAF during the night operated over N. Gaza, firing illumination flares and attacking three terrorist objectives. There are no reports from Gaza regarding the damage caused in the attacks. One Gaza media report signaled the IAF attacked in Khan Yunis. It was also reported that Hamas regime leaders headed to bunkers, expecting a retaliatory attack from Israel.

The latest rocket attacks come during Israel’s week-long preparatory exercise, “Turning Point”, which includes many possible scenarios including enemy rockets and missiles striking residential buildings, hospitals and school chas v’sholom.
