During a meeting on Sunday, 13 Sivan in the Prime Minister’s Residence, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu accused Yisrael Beitenu party leader Avigdor Lieberman of stealing right-wing votes. He explained that while coalition negotiations were taking place, Lieberman was speaking about joining a left-wing coalition and if right-wing voters would have been aware of today’s realities when they voted, they would not have voted Yisrael Beitenu.
In response, Yisrael Beitenu released a statement that the prime minister does not have the right to speak on behalf of either the right-wing or nationalist camp.

Lieberman hardly “stole” right wing votes. Based on the results, Lieberman may have attracted some centrist votes, but chased right wing voters to Likud, especially among right-wing ultra-secularists who decided that they are more scared of Labor the the Hareidim.
