Yachad party leader Eli Yishai, whose party failed to pass the minimum threshold to enter 20th Knesset, is still working to cover the debts incurred in the elections.
Yishai is selling an apartment he owns in the Mishkanot Ha’uma project in the capital, but when asked by Ynet, he confirmed the apartment is up for sale but explained it is not to cover debts. He explained that debts aside, he does not need to maintain two apartments.
Efforts to raise funds to cover the party’s debt are underway, including a fundraiser that was arranged by his close friend and former Shas party colleague Nissim Ze’ev. That event raised 40,000 NIS.
Ze’ev clarified “I did not bring wealthy people but the event was a seudas mitzvah to mark the completion of 50 mesechtos by avreichim in my new yeshiva. We decided to integrate the event for Yishai because of the mitzvah ‘וחי אחיך עמך’, to assist him”.

Next time don’t try to harm the charedim first to brake a party’s for personal reason only because he wasn’t leader like a kid in school and second 4 seats in the garbage
