Emergency services were summoned after four children found themselves trapped in an old safe they found in an abandoned area of a Tzfas industrial zone. B”H they remained conscious and alert as firefighters worked to cut open the safe to free them.

Ichud Hatzalah Galil Region Commander Nachi Klein explains that his personnel on the scene found the children in the safe when they arrived. They were able to speak with the volunteers on the outside.

When firemen finally got the safe open all of the occupants were conscious and none the worse for the experience other than a bit of anxiety. It is added that the extrication process was lengthy but no times was given.
