On Sunday afternoon, Shomrim NW London met with Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan of Greater Manchester Police & UK Police Chiefs lead for the Jewish Community in the UK to to discuss safety and vigilance with Jewish community. The event was held at the Bnos Girls School Hall, in Manchester.

Individuals responsible for security in Shuls, Schools and Jewish businesses and community centres attended this important meeting.

Acc Shewan then opened the counter terrorism security training in Manchester, in partnership with NaCTSO (national Counter Terrorism) organised by Chief Inspector Tim Williams chair of the Jewish Police association.

Over 100 people from the kehilla in Manchester attended.
